Boot Care from Randy Merrell, circa 1984

For many years, Randy Merrell was a tiny custom bootmaker. Two partners drew him in about 1981 and together they launched a boot company directed at hikers and climbers. It has become wildly successful, but Mr. Merrell himself sold his share of the company in 1986 and went back to his profession of custom bootmaking. Below is his excellent boot care guide. It came with the Merrell boots I bought in 1984.
